Lysol, Mineral Ice, and Eclipse Polar Ice Gum
These three Items smell the same to me.
No wonder the thought of popping a piece of Polar Ice gum into my mouth nauseates me.

The Ponds Walk, Sunday evening, May 15
We have plenty of other routes we can walk -- Lakeview Park, the Pheasant Branch Nature Preserve, to name two -- but the figure 8 walk around Tiedeman and Stricker ponds is the only one where a heron siting takes place.
And JoAnna loves her herons.
Unfortunately, none was spotted on this walk. (Just a single duck.)
The route.
OK, so it looks more like a lorgnette that someone stepped on.

Procol Harum's A Salty Dog
Procol Harum's albums spent a lot of time on the turntables at 428A Allenhurst Drive and 4028 Bailey Avenue (same color after all these year!) in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and no album more than this one. Its nautical theme and perfect arrangement of tracks gives A Salty Dog the feel of a rock opera.
I managed to catch Procol Harum in concert twice during my 4 years at UB, the first time at Clark Gym and again at the acoustically wondrous Kleinhans Music Hall.
A Salty Dog made its debut on Billboard's Top 200 albums for the week ending May 10, 1969. It spent 20 weeks on the chart, making its way as high as #32.
I still listen to A Salty Dog on a regular basis; the listening experience remains as fresh as it was 42 years ago. It's definitely a candidate for my top 10 favorite albums of all time.

Home Entertainment Unit from 1950
And what would this TV cost in today's dollars? $6,225. I'm betting that's at least twice, if not three times what Dad made as pastor of Messiah Lutheran Church in Auburn Washington.
