On Barb's last day, I wonder how much more hectic mornings will be as a result of her absence. Actually, I look forward to mornings without her oppressive presence. I drive Andy to daycare and then spend an hour in my office catching up. The rest of the day is spent weeding the fiction collection. I start at the end of the alphabet and work my way to the beginning of S. I even get started on the mystery fiction.
JoAnna and I attend the Broydrick Christmas party. They have a packed house, and in spite of not knowing the majority of people there, I manage to have a good time. We arrive at 7 and stay until 9.
