June 5, 1991

I'm trying to make up for some lost time by rushing to complete a draft of the long-range plan.  I can't get an early start today, though, since JoAnna's day begins earlier than mine.  At 7:30, I'm still in bed, watching the split-screen editing antics of The Boston Strangler.  I get to the library a few minutes before opening time, a sausage McMuffin with egg in hand.  JoAnna calls during the afternoon to inform me that she'll be late.  "Let's go out to dinner tonight," she suggests almost pleadingly.  I'm in quick agreement there.  As we're backing out of the driveway, I suggest T. J.  No need for motorized transportation.  Andy rides his bike.  Both JoAnna and I order broasted chicken.
