"Fair Exchange" Debuts on Friday, September 21, 1962

Broadcast on CBS.

Fridays, September to December 1962 from 9:30 to 10:30 p.m.
Thursday, March to September 1963 from 7:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Two families, one from New York City, the other from London England, decide to switch daughters for a year.  Judy Carne, who gained fame during her stint on Laugh-In, plays the British daughter.

In an unusual move, this situation comedy debuted as an hour-long program.  It was cancelled after three months.  An unexpected outburst of viewer protest resulted in its being brought back as a standard half-hour sitcom but just through the end of the 1962-63 television season.
