By Special Request: The Beaty Homes and 11 Wilson Street in Warren Pennsylvania

Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "Warren Pennsylvania Walk, July 25 2010":

These are beautieful, could you post pics of the Beaty Mansion across from the Playground, and maybe a pic from 11 Wilson Street, it was a pre-fab that my Grandfather ordered and put together from the Sears and Roebuck Catalog over 70-80 years ago.

Happy to oblige.

The 1924 Georgia Mansion, complete with circular driveway, at 224 Conewango Avenue.  (One of my favorite Warren houses.)

The original, 1873 Beaty mansion at 312 Conewango Avenue, much reduced in size.  (The front section was demolished in 1939.)

From Historic Building in Warren County, Volume 3.

11 Wilson Street.

I leafed through this book but didn't find a design similar the Wilson Street house.

Oh, thank you so much for the stroll through memory lane, did you see Mrs Beaty's Doll house toward the backside of the house going toward garage?
My how the old homestead has changed, the sidedoor is where we stored bushels of apples for the winter.
Again thank you

I lived here in the late 80s (in the carriage house) and am a relative of the owners at the time. Gorgeous properties; the main house and the garage were simply magnificent as well.
