I'm folding laundry and taping a Fleetwood Mac tune when Larry, Sherry, Angela, and Kristie arrive at noon.  JoAnna and her folks return 15 minutes later with Albert.  Larry and Alice leave around 2 so that they can get back to Two Rivers before dark.  Andy and Angela spend the entire day together, playing games, coloring, watching TV, their presence oftentimes invisible to the adults.  When our company prepares to leave sometime around 6, Andy is obviously depressed.  He won't say goodbye, won't give anyone a hug, won't even talk to his parents after everyone leaves.  He falls asleep on his bed.

Since I'm working tomorrow and business at the library is slow, I depart early, about midafternoon.  This change of schedule gives me some extra time to tidy up the house and do some taping.  I stop at Middleton Floral and buy a plant for Barb, my peace offering to her.  She mentions that she'd like to go shopping so I offer her the use of the car.  Later in the day, Andy and I go grocery shopping.  JoAnna's folks and Angela arrive shortly after 9.  JoAnna and I sleep in our old bedroom on the fold-out couch.

The restaurant next to the motel has two waitresses on duty and a line of at least a dozen people waiting to be seated.

"This doesn't look good," I comment to JoAnna.

We find a great cafe in downtown Prairie du Chien, tour Villa Louis, then head for Two Rivers and two greatly missed (by this time) little guys.  We are so glad to see them.  Andy looks so grown up.  He and (his cousin) Angela are having a great time together.  JoAnna ends up playing cards for most of the rest of the day.  I take Andy and Angela to the park.  By 9 o'clock, I'm all tired out.  I go to sleep while Andy and Angela are still watching TV.
