July 14, 1991

"Da-da-da-da-da-da" is the sweet sound that comes out of the baby monitor.  Eddie's awake and since JoAnna's still not feeling well, I fix breakfast for the boys.  At the last minute, JoAnna decides to attendn the Brewer game.  She doesn't want to ruin a family outing.

It's a beautiful day for a drive and a ballgame.   At least I enjoy the drive; everyone else naps for most of the way.  Nobody, though, enjoys the ballgame.  The White Sox crush the Brewers 15-1.  Paul Molitor's lead-off home run is the Brewers' only hit.  Andy is a handful.  He can't sit still, always wants something to eat, and regularly has to go to the bathroom.  We leave during the bottom of the 8th, and once again my passengers are sleepyheads.

JoAnna goes to bed as soon as we return home.  I feed the boys and water the plants.

April 27, 1991

I'm up at 5 to tend to a hungry Eddie guy.  Food is not enough, though.  He wants to play.  I go back to bed and doze off and on until 8:30.  By this time, Andy's been in bed with us for a half hour.  The two of us go grocery shopping.  The weather is not conducive to yard work, so we drive to the Shoe Box in Black Earth. I find two pairs of shoes.  JoAnna's loose with the purse strings today.  By late afternoon, the weather has turned beautiful.  Andy and I play baseball. He's getting to be a good hitter.  We watch the Brewers beat the Orioles on TV before going to bed.
